Last post of the day... :-(

Well, it's 9:ish in the pm here and I need to get my monkey down as tomorrow is his last day of school.

Last challenges for today as well. First is 'stars' from Our creative corner, second is the layout that came from Kerin's Thursday Challenges (sorry I missed the deadline for that one) and my own...I've been wanting to play with Certainly celery, Brocade blue, Ruby Red and Crushed Curry.

On a Finally Friday (2 peas in a bucket) Kristina made a quick Birthday card using fun shinny letters and I remembered, I have funky lettres too, might has well use them before the glue dries up! :-)

I think it is cute, not sure if I like it yet...It might take a while to grow on me...

Ingredients: whisper white, crushed curry, ruby red, brocade blue, certainly celery, ribbon, 'Dollar store bling', funky letters and buttons (probably from a dollar store from a long, long time ago), punches, markers sand the 'Picot mignon' level one hostess set.

See you tomorrow with new, different ideas for birthday cards.

Good night:-)

Still very hot...Margarita Soooooo tasty, yummy :-)

3rd post for today...yeah!!!

This card is a combination of 2 challenges (got to love it, and I do!). First Challenge is the Inkspiration challenge (Layout) and I could not decide on the colors, so the Color throwdown came to the rescue just in time:-)

Ingredients: Fresh cuts stamp set, whisper white card stock, pink pirouette card stock and ink, baja breeze card stock, ink and buttons, and kraft card stock, taffeta ribbon and designer paper from the hostess level 1 pack. Punches, glue dots, adhesive, sponges and finally - bling from the dollar store, it is called 'Art Stickers'.
Come back later on as I will do one more card today. This is just too much fun, hee, hee :-)

Fifth Avenue Floral...Why wait until later?

Stay tuned cause today, I'll be sharing more than one card (as you can already see). It is so hot and humid outside that I'd rather stay in the 'cooler' dry environment that my 'stampin Oasis' offers me. And what better excuse to get caught up on all challenges that have a Wednesday deadline:-)

This color inspiration is an actual challenge from 'Raspberry suite' and the layout is from 'Card Patterns - weekly card sketches'.

Hope you like it...

Ingredients: very vanilla, chocolate chip, regal rose, cameo coral, punches, ribbon, dimensionals, sponge and voilà.

Pile it on plus 2 challenges (kinda)

This quick card is a combination of 2 that can count as 3 challenges. Pile it on (any purple), Sweet Sunday (layout) and SP Color Combos (colors).

Just one quick post for today…

As I am writing this, I’m sitting on the ground in my driveway. I have no access to internet so I’m ‘Borrowing’ the signal from a neighbour’s house :-) (Thanks Donna)

So, this card is a combination of 3 challenges. Pile it on, Sweet Sunday and Colour Throwdown.

Ingredients: So saffron, Brocade Blue, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery in card stock, inks plus Whisper White in card stock. I also used ribbons, punches, dimensionals, sponges and the ‘Enjoy every moment’ stamp set and one silver brad. Hope I did not forget anything as I don’t want to stop and lose this signal…Enjoy :)

Let’s hope that our new modem gets here really fast as I don’t see myself doing this every day.

Father in law's birthday on July 5th

You might have noticed that most of the cards that I create to send to my family contain 'French' sentiments...The reason is simple, I am French... My family understand English (well most of them do) and just to keep it on the safe side, I try as often as possible to put French words so that they don't feel like 'idiots' :-)
This layout was from the I heart 2 stamp sketch.

Ingredients: kiwi kiss, soft suede inks and card stock plus whisper white, a scoring blade, adhesive, brads, punch, dimensionals and voilà a masculine birthday card. Stamp sets used were word from 'Vie de famille' (French version of the Family Phrase) and Trendy trees.

See you soon...Have a great day!

65 years of mariage...WOW!

My Grand Parents wedding anniversary is coming up on July 1st and for the occasion, I decided to make them a card as I see this event as a HUGE milestone in someone's life.

I love them very much and just whish that I could visit them more often.

It took me a lot of time to create this card as I wanted it to be very pretty. My Grand Mother actually framed the card that I sent her for mother's day...Don't want to disappoint her with this one :-)

Here you go, the layout is from the Taylored expression challenge #72.

Ingredients: Pink pirouette, basic black, kiwi kiss card stock and inks, top note die and oval scallop (Big shot), heard from the heart and voilà to go stamps, pretties kit (flowers and pin), punches, adhesive and patience :-) oops...ribbon and glue dots.

See you tomorrow or later on today with another card! Happy Sunday!

For now, only 1 challenge from Mojo Monday.

I know that it is late in the week to enter a challenge for Monday, I just had some issues with my head :-) It was aching...a lot!

See you soon with more 'kewl' ideas ;-)

Another card version for Father's day :-)

Today’s card is a sketch challenge from Our Creative Corner. Since I have visited with my dad and Grand Father and Father-in-law, I was in a ‘father’s day’ card mood.

Once again, using as much as I could of my ‘In’ colors, I came up with this.

Ingredients: Lovely as a Tree, Wonderful Favourites stamp sets, Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point in card stock and ink, whisper white card stock and ribbon, adhesive and chocolate chip marker.

The most time consuming piece here was the actual cutting of all the pieces…TTFN !

As promised, My card for today:-)

Quick, simple and using mostly 'In' colors I decided to go for the Sweet Sunday by KGiron Challenge.

It was fun and I'll use it next week-end for the music teacher as a thank you note for putting up with...My monkey:-)

Ingredients: pink pirouette, riding hood red, basic black card stock and inks plus a touch whisper white card stock, ribbon, punch and adhesive. The stamp set is a retired one from Stampin'Up! called; Elegant notes.

Enjoy:-)

Just a tinny break from Blogging due to a kid's birthday party

Hi everyone...just a quick HELLO and then, I'll go play with my stamps. My son turned 5 on the 31st of May and since all of our family lives in Quebec, I took a quick (exhausting) trip to Quebec over the week-end to let him enjoy a bit of play time with cousins:-). Now that I fell a bit rested, I'll have a card for you in the next couple of hours. Just need to decide on which challenge to steel my inspiration from!!!

In the mean time, here are a couple of pictures from my little monkey...see you soon!
