I'm doing good...

Read 2 and a half chapters, done sorting my clothes, my son's clothes, shoes... packed 3 boxes (while purging and recycling), started to post my cards on Etsy... now, time to relax in my bed with MDS... One quick scrapbook page inspired by this week's layout challenge at Clean & Simple...

I know that it was probably meant to be for a card but I used it as an inspiration anyhow!!!

Here you go:

Ingredients: all SU except for this little monkey... He's a Julie's original:)
Always Artichoke DP, text in white, shadow, A Holly Jolly Christmas and All scallops, brads, real red, Very Vanilla...
I know that I don't go in with lots of details when I use My Digital Studio but I love playing with it soooo much, that I can't remember what I use and that's why it is so much fun to use... It just gets better everytime:)
Nighty night!!!Photobucket

Just couldn't stay away... from crafting that is :-)

Just got that urge and down stairs I went... What is the quickest way to find a tool? Call your upline (who happens to live across the street- Birthday girl Donna, hee, hee) and have her husband run over with the punch in question to allow me to do the border in 34 seconds, lol!!!

Will be looking up challenges later on but for now, only a list of ingredients.

Here we go: 99.99% SU:-)... Old Olive, Brilliant Blue, Whisper White and Chocolate chip in inks, card stock (plain and textured), embossing powder, heat tool, round tab punch, new scallop border punch from the Sale-a-Bration brochure, dimensionals, designer button, grosgrain ribbon, glue dot, Vintage Vogue stamp set, brads, 1/16" handheld punch, adhesive, sponges, cutter kit and paper snips.  Non-SU  White tread to hold the button in place (just makes the card thinner for mailing purposes)... but for hand delivering one, a beautiful bow and the button on top... Wow-wee gorgeous!

Okay, I need help.

I am in the process of packing, purging, sorting, studying, crafting, educating, grounding, interviewing, informing, cleaning... you get the idea.  24 hours in a day just won't cut it.  Good thing Stampin'Up! came out with my digital studio, that will at least allow me to stay in touch with my creativity (usually from my bedroom, in m y PJ while monkey calms down before going to bed) and stop freaking out cause I've been looking for my "Snail" adhesive for 2 hours and still have no clue where I put it!!!

So here is what I think I will start doing; for the last few months I think that I have been pretty good at staying ahead and posting almost everyday, I will take a little break from the paper cuts and set a goal of at least 1 to 2 projects per week (even if they are digital) until I'm all set up in my new HOME... Moving date is March 16. I need to be up and running by my birthday... I will be hosting an open house soon to make room in my boxes of all my retired stamp sets, great discounts there, 5 % on anyorder placed that day plus the freebies from the SAB period... Now all I need is a date... Keep checking back for more details (still working on it).

Now on to today's post... a few challenges :-)
Spoon Full of Sugar(freestyle), Your Next Stamps (Anything that sparkles), CupCake Craft (matching ste), Creative Belli (Hearts), Mojo Monday and Colour Q.

Now My cards... just could not decide between Square or circle so I made both:-)
Too bad you can't really see the embossing on it, really looks kewl:-)

ingredients: 99.9% Stampin'Up!, lol... Whisper White, Taken With Teal, Basic Black, Real Red and Bashful Blue card stock and inks and Stampin'Write Markers and sponges. Designer buttons, Dimensionals, Versa Marker, Clear embossing powder, heat tool, grosgrain ribbon, textured Bashful Blue card stock, Whoo's Your Valentine Stamp set, tombo glue, lots of punches (3/4" circle, small oval, scallop oval, heart to heart), big shot and textured embossing plates, Whimsy jumbo wheel. Last of SU product is the Circle Cutter (scissors plus).  Non SU, stickles diamond and the tread to hold the button in place.

Hope you like it... I think they are just too cute to share, lol!!!Photobucket

One more page for the 2009 X-mas book :-)
Hope you like the cookies!  (Made with round buttons and brads)

Stepping out of my comfort zone...

And liking it:-)

Remember my awesome friend Jennifer that spoiled me at Bella? Well, she quickly asked if I could do a little something for her front window leaving me little hints of what she would like... (Hope I got the message right, lol)  If not well, I'll try again next year :-)

In the mean time, using a plastic container, re-inkers (bermuda Bay) and drops of shimmer paint, I threw a few pieces from the pretties kit and got them to look more turquoise than just clear and the regular pearl colour. All is being held together by either Tombo glue, Crystal effects and/or ribbon...Did the same thing with the taffeta ribbon.

I got to play (and experiment) a lot for this project but once the day light hits it... it is just super "Kewl".
Enjoy!!!Photobucket
