Michelle's card is so beautiful...

I know, I took a day of from blogging yesterday and no heads up... :-(  I didn't plan on it... just happened.  Instead, Donna was having a 10-10-10 crop day.  I just decided at the last minute to go and Wow, what a great day I had... Worked on something that I can't share (not yet... big, big secret, lol)... Very productive day.
Now, I will share a card that I won (part of a wonderful, unexpected prize at Palooza). This card is special because it was made with left over piece from a Scrapbook page (that I'm keeping for last, Sooooooo Kewl and I just can't stop looking at it.... Luv it).  Michelle Sturgeon from Long Sault, one of the many talented presenters, showed us how to make use of our left over pieces RIGHT-O-WAY and made 4 cards with the pieces.  This is only the first one that I'm sharing, for now that is... So many beautiful ideas that day ♪So excited about the next one in June :-)
Ingredients: Chocolate Chip, pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla card stock, adhesive, dimensionals, Big Bird Punch, Well Scripted Stamp set with Chocolate Chip classic Ink and the lovely... sparkly... very pretty... Sending Love Specialty Designer Paper.

Thanks Michelle for sharing your creations :-)

I never got around to share my son's project for Valentine's Day!

All I did was make a quick sample, 1 stamp, one colour and voilà...
Such a good kid (well, most days:-))
He made 15 of these all in 45 minutes... remember, he was watching tv at the same time (just like mom... yeah for multitasking)

MDS MonDayS... Palooza Style :-)

Good news... just done sorting through all the stuff from our furnace/storage room... Woah!!! the dust, can't stop sneezing... One huge task done, next, under the stairs!

So, now let's move on to the digital project, one scrapbook page, one picture from this last Friday's Palooza (Friday evening was open to Demos only...).
Hope I'm not making anyone uncomfortable as I do not know all the girls names and didn't ask permission to put this one up for everyone to see... I would have loved to get everyone to autograph it too! Well, just was not done on time:-)

Picture of the CN tower in the background... Just shows you all the possibilities... Click on it to see all the textures...

MDS is awesome ♫♪.  Remember, I'm having an OPEN House on March 21st and you too can try it out and fall in love:-)

RETIRED STAMP SETS SALE / OPEN HOUSE - March 21st,2010

Come say goodbye to all of my Stampin' Up!'s retired stamps, tools and accessories and get yourself a great deal! Why in March?  Well, I should have done this before the move but never got around to it and there is no better time like the present.

Drop in between 1-4 pm Sunday March 21st, 2010 and bring your friends - Crafters, quilters, artists, scrapbookers or just curious, no RSVP is required for this event.

You can stamp a free card (using currrent stamps from the Occasions Mini and the Big Shot), get a chance to play with My Digital Studio (MDS), enter my draw for a gift basket of Stampin' Up! products, and browse through the catalogue.

But here's the best part: you can browse through all the retired stamp sets I'm selling off: pick the sets you want, place an order from the current Catty or Occassions Mini for an equal amount, and take the retired sets home for free!  But wait, that's not all...

Since Sale-a-Bration is still going strong until March 31, for every $65 spent before taxes you will get another free item from the Sale-a-Bration Brochure.

If you also decide to sign up during Sale-A-Bration, as a new recruit, you  will get 15 percent off the price of the Starter Kit (Standard or Digital+), plus, a FREE stamp set (valued up to $56.95) from the current catalogues!

How kewl is that!!!
See you on Sunday March 21st!

As promised... Palooza Project peek :-)

Okay, now remember that all the Palooza projects are someone else creations... I was so much fun to be a "student" :-) I loved doing the projects so much that I can hardly wait to restart doing my classes and workshops once I'm all settled in my new home... (only 23 sleeps till moving day)... Anyhow... here is one of the project done at Palooza... A personalized DVD tin... How fun!
You might have already have seen it and if you are the kind of person that watches movies and like to spot what doesn't make sense, you might also have noticed that I have a lot of difficulty following instructions (craft instructions that is, lol) and have played with the ribbon on this one ... Would you believe me if I told you that I carry tread in my purse?  Well, I do...I love my dimensional, buttons, string and ribbon so this project just screamed WOW!!! and I wanted mine to be just a tiny bit different.  After all, it is a personalized DVD tin right ?:-)
I just loved Palooza... Have I already told you this?  Oh well... Sorry for my babbling...

Ingredients: DVD tin, Very Vanilla, Real Red card stock, Designer Button latte, dimensional, Big Shot, Alphabet Die, Scallop Circle, glue dot, Sticky Strip, Sending Love Specialty Designer Paper and Real Red Stain Ribbon ... as well as a piece of tread.

Come back tomorrow for MDS MonDayS, one Scrapbook page will be posted around breakfast time...
In the meantime, some of the subject trend on sStamping blogs in the last couple of days has been Sponges and how to identify which has been used for which colour and I just wanted to share ho I do it.. This is my Earth Element box and I have one per family.  You can buy these at a local Dollar Store, they have 12 little sections in there so that are just perfect and I recycled a page from an expired mini and cut out the colour family out so that I can put each sponge back in the proper spot.

See you tomorrow:-) ♪♪♪ Photobucket

Stampin'Palooza was Awesome!!!

Almost gave all of these out before realizing that I had not taken a picture and I would not have anything to show you ... This little cutie was my Palooza swap... sooooooo much fun:-)

You all did an awesome job preparing, organizing, presenting, delivering and let's not forget the most important one... INSPIRING... Luv ya all:-)

My first Attempt at ... Hybrid project.

No need to say... I am finally happy with my blog banner and I started playing with it a bit more (but not too much, lol) I am attending Stamping Palooza this coming week-end and will be bringing display boards to the event... What better way to meet new friends and be able to extend my 'stampers' network... They need to know who I am and vice versa, so I made this...

This was accomplished by printing my JPG file onto glossy picture paper from the $ store (just didn't want to risk spending a ton of money, in case I would not like the result...) then used my Scallop Trim Border punch on a piece of textured 12 x 12 Chocolate Chip card stock, glue dots, half pearls from the Pretties kit, Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Designer button (latte), thread, Brads (vintage), paper piercer and pad... and Tombow glue.  Then I had to let it dry... I like it... TTFN!

Quick post... Colour Q and Mercy's sketch

Of course...using My Digital Studio:-)
Why? Cause I am studying right now and working on my final project (can't you tell, lol) Sshhh... it's our little secret, needed to clear my head for a bit... lucky you(s) :-)

So, quick, quick... here is the card that I created with MDS and was inspired by Colour Q and Mercy's Sketch...

Enjoy and TTFN!Photobucket

Owl are you? :-) punch / sizzlits recipe

I know that the quality is not the best (not a big fan of scanned projects) but at least now, you can add this to your own punch book:-)... one detail missed on the scanned sheet... the tag label piece, once cut in half, can have the straight edge rounded using the wide oval as well.

Enjoy and happy Monday:)Photobucket

Happy afternoon everyone... It's Monday which means that...

It is time for me to share another project made using MDS for my MDS MonDayS section, lol ( like,  I need an excuse:))
Right now, MDS is my life saver, it allows me to stay in touch with other crafters, post something new on my blog without me loosing my mind over the fact that my stuff is slowly finding its way into boxes and I should leave it there until the move...Would hate to find myself on the eve of the move trowing stuff in boxes without any rhyme or reason...
So here is today's project, 2 more pages for my book:-) and I also had time to participate in 3 challenges: Sweet Sunday by KGiron, Taylored Expressions and Curtain Call... Thanks for the inspiration ladies:-)

Enjoy! Photobucket
