How did I get it done :-)

Well, Santa has little helpers... I do too!  All my card fronts for my swaps are done... a little total 139!!!

I was able to spend a lot of time with monkey this week-end by getting him to help!  Of sourse, while I supervised, I didn't get as much done as I would have liked but once he settles down tonight, I'll get back to my "oasis" and finish off acouple of things, including but not limited to a lei, flower power pants to complete my outfit for Wednesday evening, and gifts for my roomies... Hope that they will like the little nothing that they will receive, lol!!!  Ladies, please remember that they were done with LOVE!!!

Our Creative Corner... Beach, summer...

First off... thank you to everyone that took the time to come out for my Kewl-n-fun evening out and join me in my 'oasis' yesterday evening... It was super nice to have all of you here at the same time.  Need to clean up and make more room... Until that happens, lol...  I will have to come up with a maximum occupency number :-)  Next one will be August 6th and I will share more info once I finalize my yard - retirement - catalogue launch, etc... There will only a few of you that will get to pick your sets before I open my doors to the public!

Now, OCC... (once again, my MDS to the rescue) I accidently made my card based on next week's challenge... Good thing it won't go to waste (only means that I'll have something posted for the challenge while I am at convention) So, again, ran out of time and did this!

MIA? Not :-) Just getting ready for convention.

Between a visit from my dad on Monday till Wednesday, me working extra hours (a few bumps on the road with our project), sleeping and trying to get ready for convention... I am just running out of time to post.  So today I thought I would take a picture of my work area and keep you on your toes...

Here it is (look closely, you might be able to figure out the design for my swaps! No? look in the plastic bin, those ones are done, lol!!!)  I already have more than the 1/4 ready...yeah!

Colourful fabrics and a Big Shot.... HOW FUN!!!!

Once I started to play with the fabric and my big shot... I just could not get myself to stop!!! Soooo easy , quick, or should I say really quick, now I can understand why people that love doing quilts SHOULD GET ONE... All pieces are the same size, all is left to do is pick your colours and assemble.  Stampin'Up! has so many dies to chose from and the KEWL thing about this is that you can make unique projects in a matter or hours... not weeks :-)

You can order your machine through me via email and my gift to you is a free catty and no shipping (only through me and only in July 2010) or go online and put your order through my website and I will send you your 2010-2011 Idea book and catalogue as well as the 2009-2010 (retired - while quantities last) one FOR FREE.  If you have already purchased the Big Shot or still need some time to think about it...
